The Greek God Hades

Hades was the king of the underworld. He was the brother of Zeus the king of the gods. Hades was the oldest son of the titan gods Kronos and Rhea. Kronos was the king of the gods and the god of time. He heard a prophecy that foretold one of his children growing up to overthrow him as the king of the gods. Kronos made sure this would not happen and each time Rhea gave birth to one of his children he would eat the child. This was a metaphor for time consuming everything.

Hades along with his brothers and sisters were each swallowed up by Kronos. Hades, Hera, Poseidon, Hestia and Demeter were all consumed by their father. Zeus was the youngest of the children and when he was born Rhea hid him from his father and instead offered Kronos a stone wrapped up in swaddling. Kronos was deceived by this and ate the stone. Zeus grew up and finally challenged his father. With the help of the goddess Metis (wisdom) he made Kronos disgorge all of the children he had eaten. When Hades and his siblings were freed, they along with Zeus fought their father until finally they defeated Kronos and threw him out of the heavens. At this point Hades was not the king of the underworld. The poet Homer says that Zeus, Poseidon and Hades decided to draw lots to find out who should have authority over the sky, sea and underworld. Hades drew the lot that gave him kingship of the underworld.

The underworld was a place with different rivers and areas. There were five rivers, Kokyos (lamentation), Phlegethon (fire), Acheron (woe), Lethe (oblivion) and Styx (hate). The main regions of the underworld were the fields of Asphodel, the isles of the blessed, Tartaros and the pools of Lethe and Mnemosyne (memory). In later Greek religion the initiates of mystery cults such as the Elysium mysteries and Orphic cults taught that they could drink from the pool of memory in the underworld and thus retain their sense of self in the afterlife. During the times of Homer (c.800-700BC) such beliefs were not prominent, with a pessimistic view of witless shades the outcome for most mortals. Hermes would usher the psyche of the dead person into the underworld where it would lose all memory of the person it once was. Odysseus met the shades of the dead in Homer's Odyssey (book 11). He visits the fields of Asphodel and performs a ritual sacrifice of a black goat. The blood from this sacrifice is mixed with barley and poured into a circular ditch. The shades approach and when they drink the blood retrieve their memories and are able to converse with Odysseus. Tartaros was the deepest section of the underworld and a place of punishment for impious mortals, titans and giants. The isles of the blessed (Elysium fields) is a later optimistic view of the underworld where the sun shone and the heroes lived in a sort of semi immortality. The pool of memory is where the judges of the underworld resided. They were Rhadamanthos, Minos and Aeakos.

The most famous story involving Hades was his theft of Persephone. Persephone was the daughter of the goddess Demeter. She was out in a meadow with her friends when Hades appeared from the ground and snatched her away. Demeter searched for her daughter for many months and threatened to stop the spring months from coming to earth. Zeus intervened and told Hades to release Persephone. Hades knew that he could keep her if he tricked her into eating something so he gave her a pomegranate seed to eat. Finally a compromise was reached with Demeter and Hades. Persephone would live with Demeter during the spring, summer and first months of autumn. She would then live with Hades in the underworld during the latter months of autumn and winter. This story was a way of explaining why there were fruitful times of the year and times when little would grow.

Another famous story involving Hades was when Pirithous and Theseus. Theseus decided to abduct Helen of Sparta and keep her until she was old enough to marry. Pirithous decided to abduct Persephone from the underworld. The two heroes descended in the kingdom of Hades and attempted to take Persephone. Hades knew of their plan before they arrived and soon imprisoned the heroes. He tricked them by pretending to host a great feast. The heroes were enjoying the entertainment when the food started to turn to snakes which coiled around them and acted like chains. Herakles would later rescue Theseus, however Pirithous would remain a prisoner in the underworld.

Hades is rarely depicted in art, however it is safe to assume that his appearance would be similar to Zeus. He did not have temples dedicated to him like the other gods, however he was remembered in prayer. Although Hades is a very important god he has not ranked as one of the 12 Olympian gods. Special honours known as the secular games were held every hundred years in honour of Hades.

Greek Gods - Artemis and Apollo

Zeus and the goddess Leto, daughter of Titans Coeus and Phoebe, bore two children who would rise up to take a place in the Olympic pantheon. The twins were named Apollo and Artemis, and their arrival in the world was not so simple.

Hera, wife of Zeus, was insanely jealous of Leto and sought to prevent the birth of Leto's two children. She antagonized Leto and sent a serpent to terrorize the goddess and stop her from finding a place to bear her children. It was the goddess Asteria who offered refuge to her sister on the island of Ortygia and there that Leto bore Artemis and Apollo.

Artermis was born first and immediately set about assisting her mother through the nine days of labor she endured to deliver her son Apollo. Leto's aunt, Themis, acted as caretaker to the twins, feeding them ambrosia and nectar, the food of the gods.

Apollo and Artemis loved their mother deeply and protected the safety and honor of their mother. On tale of Greek mythology tells how Artemis and Apollo prevented Leto from being raped by Titus in the grove of Delphi. Called by their mother, they attached the giant Titus with their arrows which rained down upon him and killed him in an instant. Zeus was outraged by Titus' actions and consigned him to Hades.

Another myth tells the story of how Artemis and Apollo killed all of the goddess Niobe's children when she boasted of her own children's superior beauty, insulting Leto. Though it's unclear if this was a defense of their mother or motivated by their own outrage.

At a young age, Artemis was told by Zeus to name the gifts that she desired. Artemis chose a bow and arrow, free reign of the mountains, a city to dwell in and eternal virginity. Zeus granted all these wishes. Artemis would come to be viewed as the virgin goddess of the hunt and wildlife. She was also seen as a protector figure of women in childbirth.

Apollo would become the god of archery, healing, music and youth. Greek mythology tells how Apollo took up the bow created for him by Hephaestus and pursued the serpent into Delphi where he killed it. Gaia was incensed at having her shrine, where the Oracle of Delphi resided, desecrated. Apollo was not punished for his crime and in time became the god of Prophecy, and the Oracle of Delphi became the Oracle of Apollo.

He would also become an influential god of music whose musicianship was unparalleled. Many challenged Apollo to contests of musical prowess, but all failed to best the god.

Apollo never married though he was definitely not an immortal virgin. He fathered more than a dozen children with many women both goddesses and mortals alike.

The twin god and goddess, Apollo and Artemis, were forever connected in Greek mythology. They are both expert archers and hunters who often enjoyed hunting together. They shared the capability of subjecting mortals to plague and pestilence as well.

2012 the Mayan Calendar, Our Cosmic Alignment, and the Eight Events That Could Happen

Lost ancient civilizations prophesied it, and it became the talking point of late 2009, Hollywood profited from it by producing a lame disaster Movie. Yet as the clock ticks ever closer, when our planet aligns for the first time for 26.000 years, and there could be eight very real events which take place on December 21st, 2012.

This has been prophesied by the ending of the fabled Mayan calendar, the Hopi Indians, and written in the ancient Chinese I-Chang, and some Christians even claim in the book of revelations itself.

1. First Public Contact with an Alien Race

The cosmic highway will be open on the day of the alignment; microbes from the sun could knock out our primitive satellites and defense systems. It would be a perfect time for aliens to visit or even invade our planet And some believe like the Scientologists that 2012, is the day an alien invasion begins from planet Nibiru.

2. Meteoroids are flung towards Earth

Around the Sun, the meteoroid belt consists of thousands of particles of exploded stars and planets. The alignment with the Sun, and the center of the Milky Way could create pressures that release this belt, and create a catapult effect flinging thousands of stray meteoroids towards Earth.

3. A Solar Flare

On the day of the alignment our sun is exposed directly towards Earth. If pressures inside the center of the universe force a large solar flare from the sun, it could reach and burn our ozone layer and scorch our planets surface.

4. Judgment Day

Some Christians quote the book of revelations and state that the day of the alignment could be the end days. The theory goes that the "true believers" are taken from Earth, as God leaves the rest to face his wrath, and perhaps the physical effects of the Alignment itself.

5. A Star Shaped Sun on the Horizon

On the last alignment primitive cave men and dinosaurs saw the alignment-A Star shaped Sun glowing in the heavens. We could be lucky to see this beautiful Sun, and if nothing happens, gaze in wonder as the first people in 26.000 years to see such a phenomenon.

6. Black Hole Alignment

Black Holes suck in using cosmic magnetic forces anything in their immediate direction. Rather like a powerful industrial vacuum cleaner. If on the day of alignment, Earth is aligned across the universe with a Black Hole. Chances are our planet could be shaken, and jolted by the force of the Black Hole.

7. Planet Nibiru Collides with Earth

Nibiru has been seen and recoded as a second Sun next to our own Sun, in Russia and other Countries. This planet could be catapulted towards Earth by the magnetic forces caused by the alignment, and perhaps strike our planet.

8. A Dawn of Enlightenment

Many "New Age" believers and Religious people have said that the alignment is the era of enlightenment. An era were some disaster or event makes us realize how wrong we are with our unsustainable, unnatural lifestyles, and we be "saved" perhaps by visiting angels or aliens.

Ever closer, the days will tick into months, then years and sooner then we think December 21st 2012 will dawn- A day not even our most esteemed Astrologers, Political Leaders or Scientists can say with any real conviction, they know what will happen.

New Age Spirituality - 7 Steps Towards Spiritual Growth and Awareness

Is it me or are today's television, magazines and radio falling over themselves to increasingly broadcast and publish items of a supernatural, spiritual or paranormal nature. If it's not the latest exciting episode of a couple of handsome demon hunters returning some soulless entity back to the underworld; it's a renowned Psychic interacting with a variety of intangible beings in the 'great beyond' or assisting hard pressed detectives find solutions to a crime that had thus far eluded them.

Humans, as physical beings with a 'spiritual component', whether acknowledged or not, often find ourselves drawn towards the unknown, uncanny, mysterious, unexplained or to a power greater than ourselves. Testimony to our unquenchable thirst for something 'other than' or 'greater than' is the countless millions, possibly billions adhering to or adopting some form of mainstream or less conventional religious or philosophical belief system.

Growing spiritually in a world intrigued by power, money, and the attainment of the physical is bit of a challenge but not insurmountable. Mod cons such as electronic equipment, gadgets, and expensive cars as well as the influence of television, magazines, and the Internet have predisposed us to be preoccupied with our physical needs and desires. Can we ever strike a balance between the material and spiritual aspects of our lives or are we destined to participate in an endless tug of war between the body and the soul?

Views of science and religion differ on matters of the human spirit. Religion tends to view people as spiritual beings temporarily living in physical form, while science tends to view the spirit as just one dimension of an individual. Overcoming and gaining mastery over the self is a recurring theme in Western and Eastern religions. Scientific works, however, lean towards the belief that once you have satisfied the basic physiological and emotional needs, spiritual or existential needs come next. Whatever viewpoint you subscribe to is entirely your choice -- we have no desire to promote one belief over another. If your chosen belief system is right for you and does no harm to you or others then that's the path you should follow. The following guidelines seek to find some common ground that may be applied, at least in part by all people with an interest in Spirituality.

7 Steps Towards Spiritual Growth and Awareness

Meditate
Central to cultivating the soul, spirit or psyche, is the act of meditation also known as contemplation or introspection whereby you set aside time to reflect on your thoughts, feelings and beliefs. This discipline, like any skill, can be learned -- all it takes is the courage and persistence to pay heed to the truths that lie within and the determination to ring fence and prioritise this regular time. Learning the fine art of meditation, unfortunately, is outwith the scope of this article -- for further information on step by step guides to meditation we suggest you utilise an Internet search engine.

Connect with Nature
Spend time getting back in tune with nature, whether the simple act of strolling in a park, kicking off your shoes and walking barefoot in your own garden or just inhaling the aroma of a vase of flowers in your own home -- find natural things to appreciate in your own surroundings. Recognise your connection with nature.

Invoke the Sense of Smell
Stimulate the senses with pleasant scents around the home -- this can be artificial or natural -- whichever you prefer. The sense of smell affects us largely at a subconscious level and assists towards the state of mental relaxation.

Invest in Sound
Invest in a portable music player with earphones and equip it with relaxing music or sounds of nature. Immerse yourself in pleasant, relaxing sounds while travelling to and from work or doing household chores. This activity should be exercised with care if you need to remain totally alert, for example whilst driving.

Express Yourself
Share your newfound or re-kindled interest in all things spiritual. Join an online forum and interact with other like minded individuals. Remember to demonstrate tolerance and humility though and allow others to exercise the same right to follow their own path as yourself.

Read a little
Read books with a spiritual slant, especially poetry, filter this through your own conscience and apply what feels right and appropriate to you, don't dismiss all just because any one particular aspect disagrees with your own beliefs.

Listen a little more
Turn off the TV -- once you get into the habit of quietening the home you'll appreciate this practice more and more. It may take a while to get used to the 'deafening silence' but try it for 20 minutes or so, turn off the telephone, keep a notepad and pencil with you. If any thoughts arise that seem to demand your immediate attention, write it in your notepad with the intention of returning to it after your quiet time has elapsed.

Spiritual growth is organic by nature. To continue to grow in spirit is a 'best endeavours' daily practice. We win some, we lose some, we slip and we fall -- the important thing is that we learn from our mistakes or omissions, and from this knowledge, further spiritual growth becomes possible. Take things at your own pace and enjoy the journey.

We believe there is more to our existence than may first appear on the surface. We don't hold to any one creed, faith or doctrine but like to keep an open mind regarding the 'heebie-jeebies' which we define as...'strange, mysterious, inexplicable events or occurrences' happening all around us that modern scientists and psychologists would try to interpret by offering 'normal, rational, acceptable' explanations for these events. Please visit our web site which aims to collate and publish stories of these events provided for publication by ordinary everyday people such as you and I. Your story would be most welcome

Moses and His Magic Wand

Moses grew up Egyptian and the practice of magic was passed down to him as it was to all Egyptian children from generation to generation. "Moses was educated in all the learning of the Egyptians, and he was a man of power in words and deeds." - Acts 7:22) [NASB]

There was no room for doubt, just room for practice and faith. God not only works through man, God works through nature as well. Moses, this "man" of God parted the Red Sea. What words did he use? There are no recorded words for this miracle. Moses had learned that the wooden rod he carried with him had power to do miracles in front of Pharaoh and his magicians. He had come to depend upon the rod (magic wand, walking stick), so when he got to a crisis situation, he used the rod and his intention to part the waters of the Red Sea. Noting the tools he used, and his background in Egypt, Moses was probably considered a wizard or man of magic.

After leading a group of ornery people in the desert for many days, I'm sure Moses was weary of the griping congregation and wondered why God signed him up for the task. The people were thirsty and demanded the "Man of God with the Magic Rod" to do something to remedy the situation. You will remember in an earlier account when God first spoke to Moses and told him that he would lead the people out of bondage, that Moses had a bit of reservation about his speaking abilities. God granted that Moses' brother, Aaron, would go with him on the mission and be the spokesman to Pharaoh. In the situation of providing water for the Israelites, Moses was told by God to speak to the rock. Moses spoke to a rock and it brought forth water for the people to drink. The next time the people (still griping and fussing) needed water, he was again to speak to the rock to perform the miracle and manifest water where there was none. Instead of speaking to the rock, Moses smote or struck the rock, probably with his rod. What kind of faith did he have at that point? His faith was in his magic wand or walking stick.

The Bible mentions that God was upset about this. Why? Moses had become accustomed to using tools of divination to work miracles, but at this point, God wanted to teach Moses and demonstrate to the whining complaining people that our WORDS have power to create. They were creating more misery for themselves by complaining rather than being grateful that they were no longer under the control of Pharaoh! So, they manifested for themselves several more wilderness "do-overs" rather than moving into the land that had been promised them. Can you believe they actually blamed God for what they were manifesting? God wants us all to know that regardless of what kinds of tools we have at our disposal, our most powerful tool is the spoken word. Wow! Something to ponder. Attitude plus the spoken word manifests results. There's more to come on this subject in chapter eight.

I have had the experience of speaking things into existence. I never doubt God. In California, we had a tree in our backyard that we heard was supposed to have beautiful pink flowers shadowed with a white lining, but we never saw them in the first seven years we lived there. After teaching a class in white magic one night at my home, I went outside on a full moon and stood in the position of a star with 5 points (earth, air, fire, water & spirit - arms, legs and head). I called on or verbally "invoked" the goddess energy to enter me to let this poor tree bloom and do its part in nature. Two days later, it bloomed. My heart filled with gratitude. We have such awesome, Divine parents.

Dark Energy and the Paranormal

The Mystical Aspects and Properties of Dark Energy

Dark energy can be sensed throughout nature as a wonderful, blissful and uplifting phenomenon often associated with spiritual experiences, storms, waterfalls, natural open spaces, plants and trees. Buildings and other man-made objects, pollution and technology tend to block this energy. Interesting to note that while enclosed areas seem to reduce it, open spaces seem to increase it, yet is it possibly the same thing the controversial German scientist Wilhelm Reich tried to accumulate in orgone energy accumulators? Dark energy (prana) is the kinetic energy behind all creation which comes out from infinite space as a result of its process of self-awareness. It can be heard in the right ear as the "Om" sound or "birthing sound" of creation and as many other inner sounds according to one's sensitivity.

Dark energy could very likely be the same phenomena known throughout various cultures and/or religions such as orgone, chi, prana, Prakriti (Divine Mother), the Holy Spirit, and the power behind the manifestation of thought. It is interesting to note that this dark energy, being as universal as it is, could very well be one of the three components of the Trinity, the "Holy Ghost" or the Hindu "Vishnu" as the Sustainer of creation. The other two aspects are the "Infinite Father" which would be an infinite non-manifested aspect of creation while the "Son" would be the manifested aspect (offspring) of creation including all the universes both physical and subtle.

Such energy is uplifting! Just as there are gravity waves in the universe there are also antigravity waves that emanate directly from dark energy because dark energy is a universal form of antigravity. Yogis who claim to have experienced levitation would most likely feel that prana or chi is a form of antigravity. Some masters of yoga are able to gather so much prana or chi energy within themselves that they allegedly start to "hop" off the ground and in some cases even claim to levitate! This effect and other so called "miracles" are so rare, that mainstream science, of course, has not yet accepted any of it nor anything I say regarding the connection between dark energy and spiritual energy. Breatharian yogis can use this energy to "live on light" while going on very long fasts.

Is Thought a Zero Point Energy Fluctuation?

I have a theory as to what the subtle thought "sounds" in one's head could be. It is highly probable that they are intelligently guided pulsations or vibrations of this quantum, universally present (free) energy stored in the brain and crown chakra. The human being's vortices (or vortexes) of energy (all the chakras and meridians of the astral body) naturally gather, concentrate and then store this spiritual or dark energy into a form that can be used for any purpose. If thoughts really are a sort of quantum fluctuation (change in probability) powered by dark energy through the mind, then it should be possible to detect very slight changes or fluctuations with a sensitive instrument specially designed to interpret them and then even listen to and/or record those thoughts!

Can Zero Point Energy Be Harnessed to Communicate with the Afterlife?

This energy is most likely the only way possible to communicate with the afterlife! If thought waves are actually just minute vibrations of quantum energy (with antigravity properties) from dark energy or Spirit, then it may very well be possible to create a spirit telephone by a microphone directly attached to a highly sensitive weighing scale or some device that is able to interpret intentionally guided fluctuations in the quantum field or white noise.

Can Zero Point Energy Be Heard?

According to The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe this dark energy can be picked up as a "fuzzy" sound (or white background noise) when FM radios are tuned between stations or when the volume on one's compact disk and/or cassette player is turned up all the way between songs. More interestingly, when it is really quiet, one can also hear this sound (or white noise) in various frequencies within the inner ear. These are the sounds of the chakras, the Om, and of the inner voice. Those who are sensitive can do an interesting comparison of how the brain interprets these inner sounds verses how electronic amplifiers pick it up as a rushing white noise. One can ponder how eons of evolution has been affected or influenced by this energy and how quantum physics may very well be the main force behind the ability for evolutionary change and development both spiritual and physical.

Can Zero Point Energy Be Seen and Can it Nourish One's Soul?

Spirits see by the "light" of this dark energy which is no longer "dark" to them but is perceived as a universal, very loving and refreshing radiance that illuminates everything in the universe including both physical and astral matter depending on what vibration of matter they are tuned into. Whatever lives on the astral planes are dependent on this dark energy for vitality, light, sustenance and nourishment. It is the reason spirits do not necessarily have to eat (astral food) or at least only at first just after passing over until they realize that this energy can and does sustain and rejuvenate them in all ways indefinitely. Even astral food contains a form of this energy that nature in the astral worlds has stored in the form of astral food, drinks, fruits, herbs and vegetables.

Could Dark Energy Be Related to Paranormal Phenomena?

Dark energy is the force by which poltergeists move objects and cause other disturbances. At the time of Thomas Edison's death, all his clocks stopped. This was a deliberate, conscious attempt by his spirit to try to prove survival of his soul to others. Souls can sometimes move or manipulate physical objects, especially delicate ones such as clocks by using a thought-directed power with dark energy as its source. The charming and delightful Scottish spirit, Dorcas was once an earthbound Scottish poltergeist over two-hundred years ago in Dundee, Scotland and claimed in 1964 during a Leslie Flint seance that she still can under the right conditions move physical objects as long as the energy of a young person is present. This must mean that a young person can channel much more prana or dark energy that can be used by a ghost than a less vital, older person. Remembering that dark energy is an expansive, anti-gravitational force helps to explain how some ghosts or spirits are able to make objects float or move through the air. I am quite confident that dark energy plays a huge role in providing the power that creates the ectoplasm that amplifies thought into sound so that spirits like Dorcas can "come through."

In Conclusion: Dark Energy is One of Three Aspects of Existence

Dark energy, a term coined by astronomers to label that "mysterious" energy that 70% the universe consists of, is no more mysterious than the Casimir effect. However, 100% of all matter and light in the universe cannot even begin to exist without the universal, zero-point or quantum (five-dimensional) field from which all dark energy and all other forms of energy and matter emanate. All baryonic (physical) matter, dark (astral) matter, and electromagnetic radiation in the universe is one and the same as zero-point energy, because electromagnetic radiation consists of five-dimensional fluctuations in the zero-point energy field, and all matter is made of highly concentrated electromagnetic radiation. In other words, the entire universe and all life within it is one and the same as the quantum field of five and higher dimensions. The multi-dimensional geometry of the vacuum (or universal oneness) is the primary cause, substance, and sustainer of all matter.

The phenomenon of zero-point energy may be the one and same effect as the "Light of God," which, of course is not at all a "dark energy" to those who are fully spiritually aware. Dark energy is just as real, familiar, and ubiquitous to enlightened mystics as is water to fish at the bottom of an ocean. Yogis like to say that this universal (zero point) energy is part and parcel of a Trinity of creation consisting of (1) the "Divine Mother" (Holy Spirit) or prime mover of and primary energy of all creation; (2) "God the Father" or universal blueprint (thought and universal consciousness) behind all creation; and (3) the "Son" or the "Manifested World" or "Offspring" of the "Infinite Father" and "Divine Mother" (Holy Spirit). Sri Ramakrisha, a great mystic yogi introduced to the West by Swami Vivekananda once said that the world is the emanation of God.

Only because I know that the actual complexity of the universe goes way beyond the present borders of science, that I don't mind sounding a little religious. I also like to express the principle of universal creation in a very simple "undefined" mathematical equation: the strongest infinity times nothing: 1/0 X 0 = 0/0 = Reality. Because any number can go into it, anything may come out of it. This universal "Oneness" or "God" is a "substance" or "awareness" that cannot be defined, yet the entire reality comes from this one "substance."

The Amazing Secrets of Mirror Gazing

circles as transfiguration. This is where the faces of spirits can appear over the human face.

In the activity of mirror gazing you supposedly see these spirit faces over your own face as you gaze into a mirror.

I am told, to carry out this process it is a good idea to ask for help from spirit evoking love and light. A simple prayer for protection, a few choice words that you can create yourself incorporating help and safety from spirits with the emphasis on love and light. You can call upon a loved one in spirit or your spiritual guides, those who protect and stand with us during our mortal life here on earth. A simple idea of the sort of prayer would be asking for the Divine forces of light to guard and protect from all that is not of the light and you perform this process with the highest of spiritual good.

To perform mirror gazing you sit in front of a mirror in a darkened room. I have seen this performed in candle light; two candles placed a distance behind the person performing the mirror gaze.

The idea is to start by gazing into your own eyes, reflected back to you. Eventually your eyes will soften their focus, allow this to happen and try and maintain this soft focus. You should attempt a state of relaxation and let your mind empty of thoughts.

If you feel that your mind starts to wander and you begin to think of all things you still have to do and the other things you must do then begin to focus on your breathing. Be aware of the air you take in and then release, breathe in and breathe out being aware of the process. Remember this can help to empty your mind of mundane thoughts if you feel yourself slipping out of a receptive state of being. Keeping and being relaxed is the key to this process. Apparently being relaxed heightens your spirit vibration.

It is a case of just observing what happens. You will begin to see something; the important thing is to keep in that relaxed and receptive state of being. Remember concentrate on your breathing if you slip out of receptivity. You will see other faces that will appear over your own. If the faces make you feel uncomfortable ask your guide to bring through only pleasant images. Remember it was you who requested just love and light and for Divine forces of light to protect you. You asked for protection and your guides and loved ones will comply.

You can even do this between people and see what images occur between you both. For it is likely that even just looking to the side of each others face will bring about images and transfiguration.

Once completed, you are supposed to thank those you called upon to protect you before closing down the session. That is the process of mirror gazing or transfiguration.
