What Are Indigo Children Characteristics?

Indigo children are also known as indigo crystal children or blue children, and they have a number of characteristics that set them a little bit apart from the crowd. For the most part, an indigo kid tends to have traits that are quite similar to children who have ADD or ADHD. In fact, the rise of cases in Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder are accounted for as being the greater numbers of Indigo children born on earth.
For the most part, indigo children are identified by a channeled or a psychic who can see auras and identify them as having the distinctive deep inky purple twilight colored aura. These creatures are the beginnings of an evolution towards a more sophisticated race of humans that can communicate telepathically with each other. In theory, they are here to save the world from what civilization has wrought and we are supposed to protect them from harm.
Otherwise, indigo children's characteristics include such traits as high sensitivity, high irritability, and compulsions that are difficult for other people to understand. These children may also be highly obsessive and over focused on details.
They tend to have all of the indigo crystal children traits that mimic ADD, including the distractibility component. The child may not be able to focus on just one thing and get frustrated fast. If not, left to follow his or own plan for the day, the strong willed indigo kid then becomes disruptive to a class.
Most prominent among the indigo children traits is the feeling that the child is somehow "trapped in visual" space and more oriented towards television screens and geometry than they are towards the written word.
There are no schools for indigo children, so they may not thrive in an educational environment and get low grades even though their parents may suspect that they are actually very smart. Most parents don't ever even start to diagnose their children as being indigo kids until they take an indigo children quiz or watch indigo children movies. Navigating any educational system with an indigo kid can be frustrating, especially if the kid is a little psychic and "seeing things." It may sometimes be hard to convince educational experts that your child does not belong in a special needs school.
If you have ever asked yourself "am I an indigo child," it is not likely if you are born before 1970, although a few indigo individuals may have been born in the sixties. These people for the most part were never recognized as blue children and a consequence led difficult lives where they were ahead of their time and misunderstood.

Crystal Children Characteristics and Traits

Wondering whether you are a Crystal or not? Maybe you know someone that you suspect being Crystal? Let me explain the Crystal children's characteristics and traits.
Crystal children, along with Indigo and Rainbow children, are often referred to as the new age children. What makes these people similar is their amazing abilities, which are often paranormal. The Indigos have been appearing since before the hippie movement, while the Crystals started appearing in the mid 80s. Rainbow children are a newer type that did not appear before the 21st century.
Here are some common Crystal children characteristics and traits:
  • They have big eyes.
  • They have a high IQ. Many have an IQ of 160 while the average is around 130.
  • They often start talking in late childhood. Usually around the age of 3. It's speculated that the reason for this is because of their telepathic abilities.
  • They are very empathetic and sensitive.
  • They are often (wrongly) diagnosed with ADHD.
  • They are often telepathic. There have been many cases where this has been reported.
  • They are careful about what they eat. They often prefer healthy meals and many are vegetarians.
  • They are forgiving and often quite naive.
  • They tend to have an interest in spirits, religion and the supernatural. Some say they can also see ghosts.
  • Their aura has a Crystal color. This is the reason for their name.
These are just some of the characteristics of Crystal children. Many people believe that these kids are signs of the next evolutionary step for us humans.

Tips for Seeing Other People's Auras

One of the best bits about running psychic development workshops is teaching people how to see an aura. I love teaching this to people as they can discover their abilities to 'see' the colours surrounding others very quickly.
What Is The Aura And Can Everyone See It?
The colourful aura that we typically see is that of the astral or emotional energetic body. This is the 'bit' of us that exists at a higher vibrational level and kind of overlays our physical being. (There's a lot more to the theory of energy bodies but I want to share the practical stuff here.) The aura given off by this energy body can be 'read' and seeing colours is one way that sensitive people can 'see' what is going on for someone. Colours mean different things to everyone (but let's leave analysis for another time too).
Some people are less able to see the aura and its colours but can get a feeling or sense of them. Personally, while I can teach others to see the colours, I very rarely see them myself. I do however, sense them. Sometimes I 'hear' the name of the colour or just know that it's there, and whereabouts around the person it is. These methods of reading the aura provides a lesson in self-belief as you often think you're just making it up or imagining it.
Also, standing next to someone means that your auras intermingle and, if you're aware enough you can often get a sense of what's going on for them, or what emotional state they're in even if you find it difficult to see or sense the auras colours.
So, What Tips Will Help In Your Quest To See An Aura?
  • While it is something that comes with practise it is also important that you relax and don't try too hard as this can block your abilities.

  • If you're going to attempt to see someone's aura, always ask their permission first otherwise they will probably find it intrusive and start to feel uncomfortable with without knowing why. They may then put energy barriers up against you.

  • Have a go with a friend. Get them to stand in front of a plain pale wall and stand a few feet away from them. Allow your eyes to go out of focus and gaze at your friend's shoulder, and then just pass it. Try gazing around their head too. Look, but in a relaxed way as though you are daydreaming. Eventually you may start to see a thickening of the air just an inch or so around them. This is the etheric aura and is usually colourless. (It's like the Ready-Brek glow if you remember the adverts.) Continue to let your eyes wander around the outline of their head and shoulders, keeping your gaze soft and out of focus. You may start to see colour around your friend. This is the aura. Congratulations!

  • Working with someone who understands energy work is a great advantage as they can ensure that their aura is clear and more vibrant, this can make it easier for you to see.

  • You can also try looking at your own aura. Hold your hand against a pale background and trace its outline with your eyes, as described before.

  • Practise looking at the auras of plants and animals as they are often easier to begin with.

  • Eye exercises will encourage your ability to see the aura. One example is to create a simple shape out of card or paper, may be a star or a circle. Create this shape out of different colours, including black, red, blue, yellow, and green. Place one on a larger sheet of plain white paper and look at it in the same way as described before, with a soft focus. Gaze at the shape tracing its outline around the edge and then into the centre of the shape. After a couple of minutes, remove the shape from the background and just look at the white paper. You should see a colour in the same shape as your cut-out imposing itself on the whiteness. This colour will, in most cases be the direct opposite of the colour of the cut-out, when looking at a colour wheel. Use each of the other cut-outs in different colours and see what you can see. You are not seeing an aura, this exercise is to get you used to seeing something that is not physically there.

  • Regular practice is the key as the process exercises your eyes in a completely different way to normal looking at things.

  • Certain crystals are said to help with psychic vision and seeing the aura, petalite is one such stone that you could try.
Once you can see or sense the colours of the aura you can start to learn to translate them into information or readings for the person you're working with. You soon get positive feedback that what you're sensing is correct which is always encouraging and exciting.

Beginner Witchcraft Spells And Rituals

You should try to start with some simple constructive spells. These are used when the mood is full and bright. You can cast luck spells, money and relationship related spells. Be sure to use additional things such as candles, herbs and leaves, to make your spells more powerful and concise. A simple spell you could start with is a candle spell. Candle spells can be as elaborate or as simple as you make them. Here is an example: You will need one gold candle (for happiness) a picture or symbol that signifies happiness to you. You will start the spell by lighting the gold candle and putting your symbol of happiness in front of you now meditate think about when you were the happiest in your life bring forth these wonderful happy warm feelings invoke the emotion you felt at that time. Now say aloud: "I wish to be as happy as I was then, I ask of the powers that be please hear my plea, set me free from all the negativity that has been placed onto me. Let me be up lifted by the winds. May each day I be impressed upon by the beauty of the sun and the kindness of a friend. May I hear the call of the bird's sweet song and the open warmth of a long day's end. I am happy now; I replace my negative thoughts with the simple wonder of life. May I be open to what beauty the universe has to offer. I will do my best to be open to the good within each day so mote it be.
Purification spells must be used in witchcraft. In fact, this is the first spell you will have to use in any ritual, as you gain the blessing of the invoked deity or entity. Be sure to get it right, as the rest of the ritual or spell can prove useless without it.
The three leaves spell is used to protect a person against bad thoughts and bad intentions. You will need to lay the leaves in a triangle in order for the spell to work. Drop some oil on them and start the incantations.
Also, be sure to practice a simple ritual from time to time to release you from negative energies. You will need a white, a green and a black candle for this. Say the incantations right as you light the candles one by one. Be sure you have the order of the candles right. You should feel a lot better after that and you will be ready for more complicated spells and rituals. A purification spell can be as simple as burning a white candle and patchouli incense. Read all the information that you can find on witchcraft ask questions research the different aspects of the craft and you will find that your magic works will get easier and stronger in time.

Elizabethan Witchcraft Superstitions

The Elizabethan Age, also known as the Golden Age, is the period of Queen Elizabeth I's rule over England. Despite the fact that the Elizabethan Age was the height of the Renaissance, a time marked by a rebirth of classic literature, art, innovations, and new ideas, people still maintained myriad superstitions including the belief in the evils of witchcraft. Those accused of witchcraft were believed to be in collusion with the devil and the source of every type of calamity.
Before Queen Elizabeth's reign in the early 1540s, laws forbid the practice of witchcraft of any kind, and during her reign, witchcraft was still considered a crime. For the first offense, the accused was punished via public humiliation when he or she was placed in the pillory: an instrument of punishment where the subject had his or her neck and hands locked within a wooden framework so that he or she could be subjected to public ridicule. However, the second offense for practicing witchcraft was far more costly, as the accused was often put to death.
The fear of the unknown and of Satan and his alleged power were at the root of Elizabethan witchcraft superstitions. Popular belief held that there were three kinds of witches: those who were harmless and who helped in various situations; those who were harmful and not at all helpful, and those who were capable of being helpful and harmful. Witches that could be both helpful and harmful were believed to be the most sinister.
Identifying a Witch: There were specific and often bizarre or ludicrous methods for identifying who was a witch during the Elizabethan era. First, it was believed that if you were to burn down an alleged witch's home and if she came forth from the abode screaming and upset, then her actions revealed that she was practicing witchcraft. Alternative superstitions pertained to a witch's physical appearance; it was believed that witches were lame, old, pale, melancholy, aged, deformed, and hideous. It was also believed that in order to become a witch, the accused would make a pact with a demon or spirit, allow the spirit to suckle their blood, and it is through this blood oath that a pact was made. The spirit that suckled the "witch" would become the witch's familiar spirit, and the witch would feed the spirit from a "teat" which could be located anywhere on the accused witch's body.
Collusion with the Devil: Witches were accused of dancing with devils, and of doing the devil's work. They were believed to be superstitious, irreverent, unholy individuals with no religion or only a partial belief in God. It was also believed that the devil had full control of the witch's mind, an issue that was entirely at the fault of the witch, since they had a lackadaisical or lazy mind and purportedly lacked the willpower or spiritual fortitude to spurn him.
Preternatural Powers: Witch's were believed to have a host of unusual powers; it was thought that they could control the minds of others; especially judges, so that if put on trial a judge would be rendered powerless against them. Ironically, and flying directly in the face of this superstitious notion, witches were often condemned to death by the very judges they could allegedly control. Along the same lines, it was believed that witch's could cause a whole host of ailments in others, especially those that they identified as adversaries. Superstition held that witches could cause madness, bodily tremors, insensibility, and they could render someone speechless just as easily as they could cause someone to babble nonsense. It was even believed that a witch could send needles into the liver of their adversaries, or, with nothing more than a glance; the witch could cause his or her adversary to become terrified, confused, and cowardly.
Invisibility was a power attributed to accused witches as well; it was believed that they could cause horses to become so restless that they would cast their riders off their backs, or that they could steal children away from their mothers without being seen. "Black witches," according to popular superstition, were believed to eat children or to boil their fat in produce flying ointment; of particular interest to witches were un-baptized children.
Witches were allegedly capable of controlling the weather, and one superstition held that witches would assemble when the weather was calamitous. They were accused of making animals ill, causing miscarriages and birth deformities, and causing boys to be knavish or girls to be idle. Finally, people accused of witchcraft were suspected of shape shifting into donkeys, ferrets, cats, toads, horses, pigs, cows, wolves, or any animal of their choosing.

History of Voodoo Witchcraft

Voodoo is said to have originated within the ancient African and Native American cultures, where the shamans, or the female oracles, conducted their rituals to ensure their spirit followed the path of their God, and could join with him once the body returned to earth. Before a person may become a shaman or oracle of their village, it was important that the spirits were able to enter the body, and that the body was strong enough to withstand the power that came from above. The rituals were a village affair, with dancing and singing preceding the important choices the leaders had to make. If the wise person proved their strength, then they alone possessed the knowledge that their God wanted them to be passed on to the King and the rest of the villagers. To be a shaman or an oracle, great responsibility is placed upon that person. After their initiation ritual, they must be on hand to connect to the spirits of their world at any time.
For the oracle or shaman to receive the messages, they must first be aware that nature has a spirit, and everything contained in the world must be treated with respect, just as they would wish to be treated. People from Voodoo cultures believed that the spirits of the ancestors remained on the land to go between themselves and the afterlife. In Native American Voodoo, these ancestors are known as Kachinas. Many were afraid that if they angered the spirits, then their lives may take a turn for the worse, and so they followed the strict laws and customs from their wise person.
Healing was a main function in the African and Native American cultures where Voodoo was practiced. In order to gain the spiritual knowledge for healing, the Voodoo wiseman must enter a trance-like state, before listening and watching for images pertaining to the questions. This trance-like state was achieved through their lifestyle, often using herbs, music, fasting, or meditation to improve their abilities in allowing the spirits to use their bodies. The messages are received, and then the healing rituals can begin, with the use of charms, fetishes or dolls, or simple administration of natural elements to the individuals. Being able to heal the sick was a main point of reverence in the wise, as they had to have the strongest spiritual influences to both diagnose the condition, and also the knowledge to prescribe the items needed to cure the individual.
Voodoo, while this practice stems from African and Native American shamanism, most often it is linked with New Orleans, a French colony situated in Southeastern Louisiana. New Orleans was originally a city brought about through the slave trade, with people from all over the world making up its population. Stories circulated from the slave trips of demons and spirits, and gradually a new culture was passed down from the foreign ancestors that mirrored their ancient lifestyles. The lives of those who believe in and practice voodoo are greatly led by the superstitions and notions that are prevalent in the community. They place their trusts in the spirits, and in the nature around them to treat them with respect, providing they follow simple tasks. Have you ever stepped over cracks in the pavement, or refused to look in a cracked mirror? Even sometimes throwing salt over your left shoulder after you've spilled it? These quirks are very much a part of the ancient voodoo curses of Africa, Native American practices, and also Catholicism, which was making its way across America at that time.
The voodoo priests and priestesses of New Orleans have many practices they follow, from their use of dispensing herb pouches for illnesses, or for the creation of voodoo dolls. The voodoo doll has many different uses in other cultures, but for the people of New Orleans it was said to be used for retribution purposes, or for the healing of the customer when they cannot give their time for long periods. The doll is usually a cloth figure, with a part of the user (such as a lock of hair, or a piece of clothing) to ensure that the figure is securely linked. The ritual taking place can then continue without the target present, and the effects can be witnessed either immediately, or a few days after. The voodoo doll has also been used to send messages to the spirit world, either to be sent on to another person, to ask for guidance, or to give thanks for the life they lead, to ensure that nature rewards them.
During the time when many people converted to Catholicism, Voodoo was seen as an attack on their faith, and practitioners were forced underground, although many still attended Mass as they had done previously. Many of these underground Voodoo practices began to include Catholic references, such as signs of the cross, or praying to the Gods and saints of their religion. The Catholic church decided that Voodoo was not a threat to their church, and that it is possible to live harmoniously with the two religions together. This mix of religion has not diminished throughout the ages, and New Orleans remains a large voodoo capital today.

Spell Casting in History

'Magic', in its simplest form, has been used by ancient cultures to control the elements, and bend forces of nature to the will of the user. The Prehistoric man was very much in tune with how they were placed in nature, and often felt they must give up sacrifices and offerings to their Gods in order to keep them happy. These rituals are the earliest forms of spellcasting, as their power of giving thanks helped them in their tasks of farming or gathering food.
African and Native American cultures had their wise men and women to perform their spells for similar reasons. They used wands and crystals to aid them in their spell casting, and offered gifts of thanks for the spiritual powers. They focused more on charms and trinkets, or dolls to be carried around, and could perform spells wherever they were needed. Those who performed the spells were highly revered in their society, as they had proved themselves strong enough to handle the power of the spirits.
Egyptian and Greeks were more direct in their spellcasting, with their magics being used to control the will of others, or giving healing spells direct to an individual through their sleep. The performance of the rituals had little change from previous times, as they still believed that their Gods and Goddesses wanted cleanliness from the user, and offerings or gifts in order to say thank you for the use of their powers.
However, the rise of Christianity during Roman times paved the way for other forms of spellcasting, reverting back to the prayers to God, or the use of rosary beads and the cross. While the use of magics began to be outlawed for their pagan roots, the simple spells given by the Romans gave them the peace to actively co-exist with other spellcasters from other cultures for a set time. If the prayers worked, then they would be given permission to enter their version of afterlife and their form of spells worked for them.
During the Middle Ages, the practice of witchcraft was illegal, and many people fell under the governing bodies for the accusation of casting spells upon others. Stories surrounding these times often tell of spells that caused devilish images to appear in the dreams of the victim, or spells that could alter the temperature of the person, or evil sorcery that caused the death of another. Although it was a crime for witchcraft to be used, those who followed the old path were forced underground, and the practice of spells continued. The nature of these spells were the same as their ancestors. Small rituals to give thanks for their goods, prayers to their ancestors, and also the use of herbs to cure illnesses were used in their daily lives until the re-emergence of the pagan religion.
There are many different forms of spell casting. Each depends on the cultural backgrounds of the person asking for assistance. Although the love spell is the most common, the use of spells are extremely helpful in providing the guidance we need in our every day lives.
A prayer, offered to the spirits or to the Gods or Goddesses of your religion is the simplest form of a spell. In asking those of a higher power for assistance and guidance, the follower is using the magical energies of the gods to benefit their lives. However, due to its strict religious connotations, it is rarely classed as a spell, but more a way of giving thanks to your selected deity.
The art of writing words is a relatively new phenomenon, and so written spells were often seen as being more powerful than a spoken one. Words written on different objects were kept as charms and trinkets around the person to ensure the spell continued, or to make sure nothing happened to make the magic stop. The charms and trinkets that are worn can also be blessed with spoken words, or imbued with magical power from the elements around. In addition, rituals can be performed to strengthen these powers and make the charms potent for the user.
Performing spells can be easy, but others require the use of instruments and divination tools that allow the connection between the natural world and the spirit realm. The wand is most often associated with witchcraft, especially if carved from natural wood with an offering of thanks for the use of the tree. The wand acts as a buffer for the magical power, and aids the spells by directing the power in concentrated doses. A ceremonial knife, or athame, can also be used for these purposes. The wand connects the user to the spirit realm, and ensures that thanks are given for their assistance.
Other items that can be used to create a spell include ribbons to wrap up parcels or pouches, much the same as has been passed down through the ages. Wrapping up the spells enables the power to be held tightly inside until enough time has passed for it to return to the natural state from which it came.
A small broom, often made from small twigs tied together, can be used before a ritual to cleanse the space that will be used. Ridding the area of all energies that are unnecessary has been proven to increase the effectiveness of the spell. Throughout history, there have been many rituals involving the use of a broom, most notably the notion of spring cleaning, which is used to bring in good luck for the forthcoming season.
Candles, feathers, clay, oils, incense, water and crystals are used in addition to these. They aid the spell because they represent the elements being used; the candle for fire, feathers for air, clay or soil for earth, and crystals to hold the spirit. These items are all natural substances, and have been used for many years in all cultures to aid in the creation of spells. All the tools that are used in the divination process, even the use of tarot cards, crystal balls, dream catchers and herb pouches, are designed to pass on both elemental powers and spiritual messages from the user to the gods, or to the intended recipient of the spell.
Love: The most powerful emotion a person can feel; the emotion that drives deep into the heart of the soul and causes that person to behave in ways different to their norm. In every culture, there has always been talk of ways to attract love into your life, or to keep a lover, or to improve the love that is shared, or even to end a relationship. One way to do this is through the use of a spell.
Prehistoric or ancient cultures used their shamans to find ways of altering the course of nature, by asking the spirits to bless marriages, or bring love into their lives. Popular cultures have dramatised the rituals of their times in regard to the relationships they have, with the use of omens before the marriage; for example, the weather must be checked, and prayers must be offered to the ancestors for their blessing of the unions. These spells were considered important to the custom of the time. If something bad happened, then it was considered that the spells were not strong enough, and the gods simply weren't pleased by the unions. Since then, these people have often asked to bring the correct love into their live in order to please the spirits.
Other cultures have their own forms of love spells. Binding spells are most common in occult circles, where the object of the spell is bound to the user by the altering of their emotions to believe they feel affection for the spell caster. Performing this spell could have been mainly part of a violent nature with in the user, a latent desire to control the victim. The Ancient Greeks and Egyptians often used these curses to bring physical pleasure, and ease the suffering of the user by inflicting the same upon the victim. These forms of spells are dangerous, as many times the harmful nature of the spell comes back to haunt the user. However, there is still plenty of evidence to suggest that this magic continues.
Throughout the ages, although the use of spells and magic had to be hidden, the love spell continued. Many forms of the love spell could be found; prayers were offered to the spirits, pouches of herbs could be worn by the user, potions could be placed on the pillows of the user to dream of their loved one, and also effigies of the desired one could be carried around so as to bring their desire to them. Although this is not as noted, the wearing of trinkets, or the addition of perfumes that are in use today in order to both feel attractive, and to attract others, are all connected to the charms and spells used by witches from previous times.
After the later parts of the 19th century, and the re-emergence of many paganesque religions that were forced into hiding, many more people turned to the art of spell casting to aid them in their every day lives.
Freemasonry played a large part in the use of spell craft as a natural occurrence. They believed that it was possible to shape their own destiny and control the forces of nature by living as equals under the stars. Although their spell craft was limited, they often had with them a pentagram with a human body in the centre, to represent how grounded they were in their convictions.
African and Native Americans continued with their own voodoo practices, and their lives, while happily co-existed with Christian practices, remained largely unchanged. They used their spells to cure the sick, and to offer prayers of thanks to their ancestors or spirits. They used their dolls and other charms for protection, and completed the cycle of life with other spells and rituals to aid in both birth and death.
From the 1900s, the practice of spell craft took on more natural forms, and there was a clear shift from many spells that were used to cause harm, and more for healing powers, and to attract natural energies in order to change the self. Although spell craft by and large remained unchanged, with similar rituals being carried out, and tools remaining the same, it was clear that the popularity of the witch and the practice of sorcery meant that more people joined together. Covens appeared, and spells began to grow that included a larger number of people participating. These spells could be more powerful, although the elements of earth, air, water, fire and spirit remained the sole energies that were channelled. Charms and trinkets are still worn, and perfumes are still used to attract others and create a positive effect, and more herbs are being used in natural remedies as spells to aid the sick.
After the 1900s, with the rise of the popular media, we began to see positive images of the witch. Spell books were increasing in volume, and more information was passed to others to aid them with their own spells. Works of fiction saw the witches as heroines, or as people who used their spell crafting to aid the hero along their journey, both being invaluable to the stories. Television made a huge leap into the realm of sorcery, and magic was seen to be a powerful use of nature, and spell crafting intrigued many people.
The use of spells today have not changed in the use of the elements to alter ones life to be better, nor has it moved from the original state in being used to help others. However, it is now recognised that the crafting of spells is a way of knowing that the user is at one with the world and the natural cycles contained in it.

Elemental Magic Spells

Elemental magic spells are based on, and gain their energy from, the main universal elements. These power spells are based around water, earth, fire, air or the spirit - channelling the raw energy and enabling you to use it as an instrument. The type of spell that you choose will depend on the effects you want to achieve as each element has unique characteristics. To help you find and perform the right elemental magic spells I have put together some information on what each element offers and how you can benefit in your spell casting.
Fire Spells
One of the most popular areas of elemental magic spells, fire is powerful, energising and potentially destructive. But it has a very primal feel about it and is therefore a wonderful element for you to use to build your skills and test your potential. Spells to control fire, such as moving the candle flame, take practise and patience but will really show you what you're capable of.
Water Spells
Water spells are amongst the most flexible of all elemental magic spells. Think of how water is around us in so many varied forms and states and you will see why - it carries the force of the sea, the gentle flow of a stream and is of course the giver of life. So water spells can bring calm to your life, help you to get things developing and moving along or inject the necessary power into your spell (and life!).
Air Spells
Air spells can be very cleansing and are therefore perfect for new beginnings and banishing spells. They can be used to carry away your problems and rid yourself of the negativity of every day life and others around you. They are often very simple elemental magic spells, involving placing herbs or powders in the palm of your hand and blowing away the issues.
Earth Spells
Earth spells are for more every day matters, so spells that relate to money, that require a 'down to earth' or common sense point of view or even for protection. Use ingredients such as herbs, or things grown in the earth to invoke its power.
Spirit Spells
Spells of the spirit should be personal to you - this element is essentially you. Wherever possible, perform spells that you have written yourself. You can also include and make use of your psychic ability to help you visualise your spell's purpose or fix on the future outcome. You can also use meditation to help ground yourself, which will help to both preserve and focus your energies. You may wonder at why spirit spells are classed as an elemental magic spell here. But remember that spell work should centre around your relationship with the world around you and you are always firmly at the heart of all your work.

History of Fire and Evolution

Not enough thought has been given to the concept of fire with respect to our ancestors and the impact this acquisition has had on our evolution. No animal in the world has ever adopted, as a survival mechanism, a chemical reaction that it could lose and not be able to reacquire. The potential for fire to drive our evolutionary journey is almost unlimited. There can be little doubt that we use fire long before we could make it. The selective process engendered by such a situation is what would lead directly to Homo Sapiens.
Many years ago, Rudyard Kipling wrote a story about a boy named Mowgli. As a baby, Mowgli was lost in the jungle. The child was raised by wolves and came to think of himself as just another animal of the forest. More recently Walt Disney made a movie of Kipling's story calling it The Jungle Book. The movie may be animated, but its truths are real.
Early in the story, Mowgli is kidnapped by monkeys and taken to their leader, an orangutan named King Louie. The crux of the kidnapping is that King Louie would like to know, in some of the finest jazz lyrics around, man's "secret of fire." Alas, Louis is to be disappointed. Mowgli never came into contact with other humans. He knows no more about the secrets of fire than the wolves he was raised with. Louie wanted fire. Louie knew that fire would make him human. The secret of fire separates man from animals in the movie just as it does in real life.
A small group of aquatic apes (or should we by now say homos?) occupy a stretch of beach fronting on a large mixed woodland/grassland plain. There are six males in the troop, ten females, and fifteen offspring of various ages. The males are about five feet five or six inches tall and, maybe, one hundred twenty- five pounds. The females stand at four foot eight to ten inches and around ninety pounds. These Homo Erectus are powerfully built and fully capable of running, climbing trees, and swimming in the water. They make their living mostly on land. The sea in their territory was almost entirely sand bottom and little marine life grew in the area. The sea did have one advantage for our ancestors, however. About 50 yards off shore was a small sandy mound which the troop used as a refuge at night.
These early humans lived by foraging and scavenging. They were equipped with stone tools including small fist-sized rocks used as projectiles. They also carried short, pointed sticks used for digging and for flipping over porcupines so that they could get at the soft underbelly with their flint cutters. These H. Erectus flourished on insects, grubs, lizards, fruits, roots, and scavenged meats and the occasional porcupine. The troop prospered along their length of beach and life was good.
The alpha male in the group was largely responsible for this prosperity. He was a genius. Through trial and error he had discovered that some stones make better tools than others. Now, most of the males had good, sharp flint hand axes. The other males also knew how to form the desired shape from raw stone by watching the alpha male. Even a few of the females carried flint tools, mostly cast-offs from the males, but a few made from scratch. These tools made life marginally easier for the whole troop. The male also made a discovery that contributed substantially to the success of this group of H. Erectus.
Periodically, fire swept the plain and, in the course of burning, the fire would sometimes incinerate the base of a particular shrub. The shrub put out long, single branches from a short gnarled base. The fire would char through these branches when it traversed the plains. Because the branches were green, only the bases would burn through. The alpha male found that these branches made perfect pointed digging sticks. Because they were green, they were more flexible than dry wood, and yet at the base the fire had hardened the wood to such a degree that it held a point very well.
The group liked fire. Of course, it had not always been so. Animals flee fire for the very good reason that fire doesn't care. It will burn anything that gets close to it regardless of size or strength. Over the millennia, those that ran from fire survived. Those that didn't, didn't.
Our Homo Erectus ancestors at one time also feared fire. Caught on the open grasslands, fire would sometimes overtake the entire band and even climbing trees didn't always allow for survival. If the flames were hot enough and high enough, the climbers would perish.
But this troop actually looked forward to fire. They knew that the beach didn't burn and when smoke appeared on the horizon everyone made a beeline for the shore and the safety of the water. It was after the fire had passed that the real fun began. There were insects singed by the fire or even cooked and clearly visible in the ashes. There were lizards, rodents, all types of goodies and best of all no predators. Always with the fire they ran, always. They ran, even from their own kills, which made scavenging that much easier.
It was the alpha male that made the first connection. In the beginning it was difficult because the red dancing flowers could hurt quite badly if one wasn't careful. But fire was fascinating, also. Was it alive? It gave the appearance of eating wood but not like normal eating. It was warm but only up close. It was now red, now black and then white. It grew and died quickly. It only affected certain things. Dry wood it ate, green it sometimes ate and sometimes not and stone it ate not at all. It was truly fascinating.
The male liked to play with fire. At first, he would only poke at it with his digging stick, turning over the burning wood, prodding the ash to see where the fire was. He would wave a smoldering brand in the air to make the red flames jump out of the black char. He would place small twigs on top of burning branches to see the red devour the wood. The big male found fire to be the most fascinating thing in his life.
The problem was that the fire kept going away. A wall of flame would traverse the plain, black smoke rolling and animals fleeing, then it would be gone. The plain would be black and quiet. Here and there a small plume of white smoke would life from a stump or a downed tree but the vast wall of red would be gone or clear over on the horizon and way beyond reach. The male could make the stumps erupt into red but only as long as he fed the fire with wood. Then one day, he had an idea and everything changed.
The shoreline occupied by the troop as well as the small sand spit used for sleeping was littered with driftwood. A river six miles to the south dumped lots of downed trees and well as branches and limbs into the ocean. The currents brought all of this detritus north and, sweeping in shore, dumped a lot of it on the beach and sand spit. The male would use this wood to keep the fire alive. One evening after a fire on the plain, he brought a burning branch back to the shore and thrust it into a pile of driftwood. Almost immediately the dry tinder caught fire and soon the whole troop had to back away from the blaze because of the heat. The troop watched for a while then made their way out to the spit to sleep.
In the morning, the male came ashore and looked at the ashes left from the driftwood fire. Here and there wisps of smoke drifted up from the burned wood. The male turned over a log and red sparks snapped and popped. Quickly he grabbed a handful of twig and put them on the log. A small tendril of smoke drifted up, then more, a twig snapped and charred, in a minute the pile burst into flame. More twigs then branches and soon a roaring fire was burning.
The chill of the water and the coolness of the morning was offset by the heat of the fire. It was nice to wake up wade across to the shore and make up a nice warm fire to start the day. And that is exactly what the troop did. Each evening they would use the ashes of yesterday's fire to start another. Over time, they learned just how much wood to ignite and how to arrange the logs and what burned well and what not so well. One day it rained and they lost their fire. But they remembered and when the next lightning started fire swept the plains they took part of it back to the beach and again looked forward to warm mornings.
One evening as the group was preparing the evening fire, a pack of hyenas showed up. Normally the whole bunch would have dashed into the water but the hyenas seemed reluctant to attack. One of the males picked up a flaming branch and threw it at the pack. Sparks flew and the hyenas scattered. Another brand and the animals fled. It wasn't just fire on the plains that predators feared. It was any fire. .
Homo Erectus learned. They learned to keep fire, first brands, then coals in large clam shells, shells filled with punky wood and two or three coals. Fires that would keep when the two halves of the clam shell were bound together. Fires that had to be protected from water not just rain but anything wet. Even a heavy damp would permeate the punk and snuff out the troops survival mechanism.
There is no doubt that the subjugation of fire put enormous strain on our intellectual capacities. Those groups that could do a better job of holding onto fire prospered. Those that lost fire or were never able to master it, were selected out. Brain power prevailed, Homo Erectus prevailed, and became the first primate to radiate out of Africa. Our ancestors had arrived.

The Truth Behind Crop Circles, Equations and Magnetics in Reference to 2012 Survival

Unfortunately, many people believe that crop circles are just a big hoax. This is largely due to the fact that there are those who find it humorous to create their own crop circles. This act not only destroys the significance of these great events, it also very specifically shows our blatant ignorance of matters that should be viewed with more respect. This ignorance insures that those involved will not be amongst those who believe in 2012 survival.
Almost as if in response to these silly counterfeits, the elaborated complexities of crop circle patterns have evolved into unimaginable dimensionality and depth. To those of us who have taken it upon ourselves to become more educated in the ways of natural and astronomical mathematics and patterns, there has emerged a very significant message to each new crop circle pattern that comes about. Is this message telling us of a change of life as we know it on December 21, 2012? Or is it just a big hoax? The truth will insure your 2012 survival.
To begin with, the precision of geometry and mathematical alignments used in the making of these crop circles surpass any man made capability. These newly evolved patterns show us solar and lunar calendars, astronomical predictions, binary codes and so much more. After studying these patterns and their geometric perfection you realize that they are showing us something far more important. These images tell of a time when everything will change. This time is December 21, 2012. Those that know this will be among the few who are guaranteed 2012 survival.
So why is it that over ninety percent of these patterns appear within one small county in the United Kingdom? Doesn't this prove that they are made by the same individuals? Let me ask you this: What other phenomenon are present in this location, that are not present in most other locales on this planet? One is the mysterious construction known as Stonehenge. These remarkable stones are structured near some of the oldest civilized places in that part of the world. It is a common belief that Stonehenge was created by the Druids. This just is not true. The true beginning of these megalithic stones is at least 1000 years older than that.
Stonehenge sits directly on the magnetic fields in the Northern Hemisphere. Other such unbelievably fantastic structures that sit on these magnetic fields are the Great Pyramids, Poverty Point in Louisiana, the Serpent Mound in Ohio and the Mayan cities in Guatemala. Now when we take into account that this is where the alarming increase in frequency of crop circles appearing in the fields, we start to see a connection to the significance of this place, and the significance of 2012 survival and the date December 21, 2012.
The Serpents Mound is constructed over a very unusual deposit of mixed old and new bedrock. The setting sun perfectly aligns with the head of this structure during Summer Solstice. Does this seem like a coincidence?
Why would marking the seasonal equinoxes and solstices in rock formations be of importance? What purpose does this serve? Understanding astronomy and its significance to all life and events on planet Earth bring us the answers. We learn of the importance of our 2012 survival and of the natural world and December 21, 2012. It is no coincidence that all of these unbelievably mathematically correct structures and societies are built around the magnetic fields in the Northern Hemisphere. What could all of this possibly mean? The answer will only come in educating yourself about truth behind 2012 survival beyond the date December 21, 2012.
2012 discovery only comes when searching for the truth about 2012 and how to survive. Learn more now by visiting here==> End Of World 2012. It is absolutely essential that we fill ourselves with as much knowledge as possible in order to be among the few surviving 2012. Are you ready to join the revolution?

Voodoo, Wiccan and Witchcraft Love Spells

There are many kind of love spells: Voodoo, Wiccan, Witchcraft, among others. Why are not these simply "love spells"? How are they different?
Voodoo and Wicca are religions. We can refer to a religion as a set of beliefs and worship of Gods or deities. The latter is why ceremonial magick practices such as invocation (calling a deity into one self) and evocation (calling an entity into one's presence) tend to form part of these magickal religions. Thus, Voodoo and Wiccan love spells are done based on certain beliefs and deities.
In fact, in some cases, Voodoo and Wiccan spells for love are nothing but offerings to their deities in exchange of their wish. The herbs, stones, crystals, etc., in them are used to attract and appeal a specific deity or deities.
Witchcraft is not a religion (although many consider it to be one). Witchcraft spells for love do not necessarily involve deities. This system is simply after the outcome.
I would like to point that a love spell does not need to involve deities to be effective. In this case the spell caster uses his psychic abilities to alter reality in the higher planes which reflects in the physical plane. This is what the hermetic law "as above so below" refers to. It is the principle of magick.
You may have experienced or heard about people being able to view the future in dreams. They were able to do so while traveling - usually unconscious - through the higher planes before it reflect into the physical plane.
How does all this affect results? After all, these are all that matter. Personally, I have noticed that using deities in my spells "empowers" them. Results tend to come a little faster and with "bonus" benefits. It seems like deities, know how to bring the best results. On the other hand, using deities in spells can cancel them if their purpose does not go in accordance with the deity involved in them. So, a spell caster must know what he is doing; which deities to work with and when to work with them at all.
This should be no trouble to a professional caster, since he should have learnt this in his "novice phase" long ago. The only difference between Voodoo, Witchcraft and Wiccan love spells are how they are cast. Therefore, if well done, any of them will bring the positive results you're looking for.

Love Astrology: How the Karma of Connection Affects YOUR Ability to Find True Love

I believe that everyone comes into the world with a soulmate or spiritual partner....pretty much picked out BEFORE you are born.
Or maybe said a bit better.....I believe that each of us choose who we are going to love in this lifetime, and the lessons we are supposed to learn from relationship are pretty much understood BEFORE we even meet up again.
There is very little chance, luck or coincidence in life....especially when it comes to matters of the heart, spiritual growth or the karma of connection.
Many first time readers here a term like "karma" and think it means something weird, exotic or "new age".
It doesn't. And every religion and spiritual tradition under the sun has some form of karmic teaching at the core of what it teaches, preaches and hopes it adherents will follow.
For example?
The basic law of "you reap what you sow" is pretty much present in ALL religious and spiritual teaching.
And karma is all about aligning outcomes, with actions. Cause and effect. You get what you give. What comes around GOES around. And so forth.
So how where do KARMA, astrology and LOVE intersect?
Quite simply, I believe that we come into this world with 2 primary purposes.
1 - To grow, evolve and develop spiritually
2 - To find, feel and OFFER true and unconditional love
I believe that the Universe knows who is the perfect spiritual match for each of us, and that it conspires to help us find, or be re-united with that perfect person, ONCE we open ourselves up to this truth.
The real reason most people will NOT find true love?
Because they listen to their heads....and NOT to their hearts. So many of us make decisions about love, lust, romance and relationship based on what our heads tell us is sensible, logical or looks good on "paper", without any real understanding of our true life purpose. (which I believe is to be re-untied with our one true love......before this lifetime is complete)
This is NOT just a new age concept by the way.....
All major religions teach us that we have a spiritual soulmate, and that our lives our incomplete unless we find them.
Judaism, for example....or Kabllah (the mystical form of judaism I practice) teaches us that we each have a "beshert" or spiritual soulmate a birth, and that our souls are literally split in half before we are born....and that our ONLY real job is to find our other half before we depart this life.
Not recognizing this can lead to a lifetime of unhappiness....and for settling for far less love than we truly deserve.
Most potentially unfortunate?
Many believe that your spiritual karma can be "re-set" and if you don't find your true spiritual soulmate, that someone else can step in and substitute in your place. (I don't know if I believe this is true.....but many do, and it's a pretty common motivator as well!)
The truth is, if you don't think that you've EVER met someone that is truly right for you, a love astrology reading can help light the way. So too can deep meditation, visualization, tarot, or even a karma or past life reading that reveals your spiritual journey to arrive at where you are right now.
And while all of this may SOUND hard to believe and understand, the truth is....with divorce rates hovering at 60% + and MOST couples admitting to being unhappy, the price you pay for setting for less than you deserve in love and life is NOT a price I'm willing to pay! (and those of us who believe in soul-mates and spiritual partnerships are FAR happier than our counterparts who don't!)

How to Find Your Soulmate and True Spiritual Partner (2 Simple Rules for Love That Lasts Forever)

Who else is sick and tired of being in BAD relationships that started out great... but fizzled fast? Do you find yourself feeling desperate, or confused or simply NOT sure what, or if you are doing wrong when it comes to the people... or the partners you pick to live with and love?
It's interesting, because a love and relationship intuitive who spends WAY too much of her free time reading articles on love, romance and relationship, it amazes me how much BAD (and disempowering) information there is out there... especially for women.
For example?
I just read an article on 10 things that women could do to meet their match... and in my view, at least half of them were depressing, dangerous or simply DOOMED to disappoint!
The truth is, finding your soulmate is EASY. And it becomes effortless once you know the trick... and you commit yourself to the idea that there IS someone out there just for you.
As matter of fact...
The most important factor for finding that one true spiritual soulmate or partner can be summarized in ONE simple word:
Belief.
(And a PASSION in the idea that that your life has genuine PURPOSE and that there is one special soul out there who is here to join your in a joyous journey of spiritual growth and unfolding)
I'll give you one other word, and an idea that I truly helps you find exactly what you are looking for... without wasting time on kissing frogs, making mistakes and experiencing the sort of heartbreak way too many of us experience, especially women:
STANDARDS.
A soulmate is about having standards. And NOT settling for something that feels good, or makes you less lonely, or satisfies a temporary hole you have in your life.
That is the reason so MANY women make lifelong mistakes... and end up going through most of their lives, and their relationships, feeling pain, hurt, rejection and ultimately... divorce, or disappointment or worse.
How can you combine both of those ideas into a simple strategy that works wonderfully well?
Simple.
Believe in something BIG. Both for yourself... and in that perfect person that you pick. (not perfect in the sense that they are without flaws, but perfect in the sense that they are perfect for YOU!)
It's amazing what can happen when you really believe that there is someone who is specifically here to complement YOUR life, and you raise your standards to NOT expect anything less.
When you do this, the Universe conspires to give you what you want, and you'll be amazed at just how quickly all of the perfect pieces of YOUR puzzle fall into place. (I promise!)

Black Magic And The Tourmaline Crystal

This is all about the negative influence of black magic and the positive energy of the tourmaline crystal. Did you know that negative energy is very common these days? Did you know that spells, hexes, and the evil eye is used often to cause hardship upon others? If you want to know more, then read on!
The sinister purpose of black magic is to slow YOU down, to create challenges and roadblocks, and to drain the life force of the individual. I know! Heavy stuff, but not a pretty scene if you find yourself on the receiving end of the dark energy of a black magician.
The dark side of the occult if full of psychic attacks, negative energy, and secret rituals. If we find we have some kind of evil occult energy around us what do we do? We fight, that is what!
But fight how? Well, you use positive methods that create GOOD energy and the evil vibrations eventually melt and disappear. Your first positive weapon of psychic protection is the CRYSTAL tourmaline.
Why this particular crystal stone?
Tourmaline has been used for centuries as protection against psychic attack, spells, and as a defense for negative energy. It is used to reflect hexes and evil curses back to their source. Yes, it acts like a shield of protection. This is how it works.
Every human being has an energy field. I like to call it the aura. The aura is your first defense against any kind of black magician. A healthy energy field around you gives you lots of protection and opportunity. This crystal works by giving the aura a much needed boost when under the stress of psychic attack. Folks have said to me they even feel more energized by simply carrying it in their pocket.
Here are some other uses for this REMARKABLE stone.
It can be used for house clearing. Ghosts, spirits, and weird energies in the home will leave if you have lots of this crystal around. Yes, it is also a ghostbusting stone! It is often used inside of haunted houses and spirit infested locations.
You can place it under the pillow at night before sleep. It keeps nightmares away. It promotes only good dreams. Plus have you ever heard of a toxic work environment? Keep a couple of small stones on the desk near your computer! Just try it and see what happens.
Plus use MORE methods to solve your black magic problem. Methods like eating well for example. Is this too simple for you? Hey, it is a fact ALL negative energy robs you of life force so anything you can do to put it back is going to help you. I would even suggest going so far as to add some organic green superfoods to the eating plan for that something extra.
Water is well known to shamans as a big assist for aura cleansing. Both showers and bathing are good. Fresh air, walks in nature, that kind of experience where you are back in nature in the natural environment give you a lift.
So how does one stay safe and be protected around black magic? I have already told you, use the tourmaline crystal!

The Church and the Black Death

Medieval medicine and healing practices in Europe were often hampered by the institution of the Church. Dissections were seen as sacrilegious and prayer was often prescribed by priests who believed sickness was a punishment from God. As a result, many of the medical practices of the 14th century were based on speculation and superstition, which could be especially harmful during really bad outbreaks such as that of the first plague epidemic.
The Act-of-God
The most celebrated doctor of the 14th century was Guy de Chauliac, physician to Pope Clement VI. According to him, the first plague epidemic known as the Black Death (1348 - 1350) was brought about when Mars, Jupiter and Saturn came into alignment in 1345. This alignment was thought to be a sign from God that the disease was sent as a punishment for the sinful antics of medieval man.
With doctors of his calibre and high ranking church officials believing in the act-of-God aspect of disease, especially when it came to really bad outbreaks such as the Plague, it must have caused a feeling of helplessness amongst the laymen, and the general medical and religious community. Most would have thought when the Black Death hit that there was nothing left for them to do but pray to God for forgiveness and mercy.
Quality of the Priesthood During and After the Black Death
Priests, like everyone else became afraid during the epidemic that wiped out somewhere between a third and half the population of Europe in a little over two years. In that time, they lost a lot of credibility as an institution because they told everyone the plague was a punishment from God, but then lost as many people to it as any other institution or profession.
This led many to believe the church carried little favour with the Lord, no more so than the lay people so to some extent led to the Black Death bringing about a decline of the influence of the Catholic Church. The priests that did survive were often so afraid of catching the disease themselves that they refused to administer last rites, so much so that the Bishop of Bath & Wells said to his constituency in 1349; "Priests cannot be found for love or money....to visit the sick and administer the last sacraments of the church - perhaps because the fear they will catch the disease". He continued that sins should be confessed to a layperson if no priests were to be found or even, "to a woman if no man is available"!
It was not only the Priesthood that were guilty of this, generally medical practices of the mid-14th century when the Black Death broke out left a lot to be desired as doctors too are reported as being difficult to find for fear of catching the disease.
It is also only fair to say that many priests and doctors did in fact risk and often lose their own lives attempting to help the sick and give last rites to the dying, however this had the effect of limiting the numbers of good priests and doctors and aided the survival of those too scared to do their jobs properly.
As a result of the many priests who died, the Church became somewhat slack in who it allowed to take the sacred vows. This led to many people joining the clergy for the wrong reasons, or at least more so than usual. Henry Knighton remarked in his work, 'Chronicles of the Fourteenth Century', "One could hardly get a Chaplin to serve a church for less than ten pounds or ten marks. Whereas before the pestilence, when there were plenty of priests, anyone could get a Chaplin for five or even four marks".

Witchcraft Love Spells: Should I or Should I Not?

So how long has it been since you went out on date? Are you getting desperate enough to actually use witchcraft in order to find love? Before going over the deep end and joining a coven, think first. Is this really worth selling your soul over? Is this really worth the risk of crossing over to the dark side? Contrary to popular belief, the practice of Wicca is witchcraft. If you are a Christian, then participation in witchcraft of any kind is strictly prohibited. Why? I can say with all certainty that our God, the Christian God, the one and only true God, has His reasons. He wisely chose not to scare us with the details because giving glory to evil was not on the agenda.
However, I can tell you from personal experience with those who have chosen to experiment with the mystical world of witchcraft and the dark arts that their lives are not the better for it; they are never the same. In fact, it is not unusual for many people, who delve into casting witchcraft love spells or otherwise, to begin experiencing the sudden onset of serious health problems for no apparent reason. Doctors are left baffled in battling to save their lives on many occasions and the curses do not stop there. The entire family suffers. Pets suddenly grow ill and die, children develop deseases not common to family heritage, and fatal accidents occur. If this is happening to you, how many red flags does it take to get your attention?
Besides all that, the fact is you are manipulating the circumstances by attempting to control a person's free will. Is that your right? Absolutely not! And what makes you think this won't backfire on you? Eventually, it most likely will, which should not surprise you. No amount of witchcraft love spells, lotions, potions, or otherwise will stick forever. Therefore, I think it is safe to say that you are violating a law of nature when trying to control and manipulate a person's mind, will, and emotions.
There is no real fountain of youth. It is inevitable that gravity will take it's toll on our bodies. How can any kind of witchcraft love spells bring about true love; the unconditional kind of love that the Bible teaches about in I Corinthians chapter 13? This is the kind of love that will promise to stay with you through the good times and the bad, through sickness and in health; and in my case, fatness and thinness.
Beloved, only God can do this for you. There is no need to test His trustworthiness any further. God promises to stick closer to you than a brother. You can depend on him totally without a doubt. There aren't enough witchcraft love spells in the world that can do this for you. There is no major power, VIP, or coven leader on earth who can bring a lifelong lover into your life with the eternal passion of Christ as your Bridegroom. Only the love and power of God can do that for you. And He will, if you ask Him to. He's standing at the door of your heart knocking even now. Why don't you open the door, invite him in, and tell him what's on your heart today? No, He's not a magic genie, a warlock, or a magician, but He has been known to do a miracle or two every now and then. And He knows what you need most. You can trust Him with your life and your love life.
