What is Planet X 2012? During these past few years, more and more people are becoming interested in the phenomenon about to happen-the end of the world in the year 2012. In the Mayan Calendar prophecy, the world will end on December 21, 2012. That's in two years. Will it really be the end? Literally? Or does it stand for something else?
With the sudden fascination and inclination to dig up clues and information about the 2012 catastrophe, there are people who post articles and sections on websites that are not true. They do this just to add to the hype and madness of the 2012 predictions. These sites claim they have talked and interviewed experts on the matter and they've got the information to prove that it is true, but how can you be sure it's true? How can you know whether they're telling the truth or just pulling your leg?
There are lots of articles and news circulating on the web that post theories on how the world's going down in the year 2012. The first of all the theories is the polar shift 2012. This theory states that in the near future, there is a possibility the earth's poles will either magnetically or physically shift. This is a very alarming thing to think about. In the physical shift of the poles, everything on the earth will perish. Life will end. But magnetic reversal is a less severe form. This theory suggests that the earth's magnetic field is on the process of getting weaker. The magnetic field of the earth is important in navigation, both of living creatures (like dolphins and bats) and of ships, buses, cars, and GPS systems. If this field would decrease, there would be a probability that animals would get lost and ships would collide with each other in the open waters. This will bring disaster and even death to some unfortunate people.
These are just two of the possible things that could happen. But the question is what is Planet X 2012? Some people claim that in the year 2012, there will be another planet that is in direct course to earth, meaning: it will collide with earth. Thus, it will result to the death of all living things on earth. Sounds familiar right? This is because this is what happened millions of years ago. The same thing supposedly happened to the dinosaurs. But during that time, it was only a meteor, now they say Planet X is what's going to wipe the earth clean.
Some scientists believe that this is what is Planet X 2012, it is the bringer of the doomsday for earth. They even claim that it is hidden in some verses of the Bible, that there is a Planet X that will kill everything on this planet. Yet, lots of scientists argue or disagree with this theory. There is not many evidence or data sufficient enough to prove that this will happen in the near future. So, this theory is mostly dismissed as a cause for earth's end.
