Seven Current Signs the 2012 Mayan Prophecy Could Be True

December 21st, 2012 is an ominous date for many people observing current events happening today. And these events are persuading more skeptics that something could happen on this date.

What are the seven current signs that show us that the 2012 Mayan prophecy could be true?

1. Increased Volcanic activity

Indonesia, Ecuador and Iceland have some of the most potent volcanoes in the World. During 2010 Mount Bromo, Merapi and Karakato have started to become restless again, with Merapi spitting out dust and lava. In Ecuador, volcanic activity is also increasing. These volcanoes are the most potent in the world.

2. Melting Polar Ice Caps

The North and South Pole are continuing to melt, with ice turning to water at a faster rate then previously in history. As our ice caps melt, so does the water levels of our oceans, creating floods and taking over our lands.

3. Freak Weather Patterns

Increased unexplained weather around the Globe has led to record cold and warm temperatures in Europe, and a change in tropical weather patterns in East Asia. Unpredictable heat waves, and snowstorms are leading to a steady change in weather patterns throughout our world.

4. A Shift in the Global Economy

The global economy like our weather has changed, resulting in a rift between the citizens of countries like the United States, and their traditional political leaders. This is weakening peoples social belief systems around the world in their leaders, and creating an atmosphere of conflict as the clock ticks towards 2012.

5. Space Weather

Solar storms are about to hit Earth.after officials of NASA met in emergency meetings in 2010 to suddenly discuss the real threat of space weather in 2011. These storms could damage satellites and blow our electricity generators, potentially leaving our cities in darkness for months.

6.Sinkholes

Sinkholes are appearing throughout the World, from Guatemala to Indonesia, and Venezuela. These sink holes are a recent phenomena and are unexplainable- as suddenly the earth is sucked in from underneath us, leaving a deep circular hole in its path. Why are they becoming more common?

7. The End of all Manned Space Missions

There are no planned manned space missions in 2011, except a few emergency flights from Russia to maintain the international space station. This is the first time in the history of modern space exploration, and may be related to renewed space weather predicted in 2011, and 2012.

"2012" the movie was pure entertainment, but evidence increasing shows that a combination of freak weather, renewed volcanic activity, a widening mistrust in society of its traditional leadership, and the real prospect of solar storms are signs the Mayan prophesies of 2012 could be true.
