On the image the head of gold represented the great empire of Babylon with Nebuchadnezzar's himself the ruler. The iron legs represented the Roman Empire. According to students of Bible prophecy each metal in the vision stood for a great influential empire in history and covers the time of ancient Babylon to the present day.

Nostradamus was another famous psychic who lived in the fifteenth century during the time of the Spanish inquisition. He wrote about his prophecies in what are called quatrains. He formed his writings into one hundred quatrains and called them Centuries. It is fascinating to note each one of his Centuries has only forty six quatrains. Nostradamus has followers who say he predicted the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the French Revolution.
